Nudgee Cemetery Vision

Nudgee Cemetery serves the Catholic and wider communities of Brisbane. It provides services to the community, at the time of death and after, which demonstrates respect for the past and hope for the future.

The key fundamentals to achieving this vision are:

• Maintaining and increasing the continued support of the Catholic and the wider community of the cemetery;
   
• The Church's continued development and maintenance of the cemetery to achieve an attractive appearance;
   
• Providing choices in different types of resting places within the cemetery; and
   
• Providing infrastructure to encourage greater use of the cemetery and utilising the cemetery as a place for prayer, reflection and the celebration of community

Mission

To provide a sacred liturgical space to respect the faith, diversity, tradition and history of the Catholic and wider communities.

The key fundamentals in achieving our missions are:

• Retaining the commitment to provide a resting place for the Priests and Religious
   
• Providing a space that is well maintained, attractive and inspirational to prayer, reflection and a respect for the past; and
   
• Providing choices for burial with respect for our faith and sensitivity to the diversity of the community.
