Nudgee Cemetery is a part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane. The Archdiocese appoints an advisory committee that oversees the operation of the Cemetery. This role includes adopting policies that ensure all legal requirements are met and the ongoing improvement of the Cemetery continues.
Operational staff include 3 office personnel and 5 full time grounds-people.
The Cemetery Manager, David Molloy was appointed as Manager in June 2003. David took up his first full time position in the funeral industry in October 1991. Prior to that he had some experience in an assisting role. In order to accommodate the family's requirements, his experience and his understanding of the funeral process is invaluable. David has been a member of the Cemetery Advisory Committee since December 1999, he was an Executive of Queensland Cemeteries & Crematoria Association for 15 years and is currently in his fourth term on the Executive of Australasian Cemeteries & Crematoria Association, in October 2022 he completed his 3 year term as President and is now the Vice President.
