Above-ground vaults are concrete cells erected on a concrete slab. They can be purchased singly, in pairs or at a family's individual request.
The vaults are purchased in plain concrete, which allows the family to finish their vault in a style and granite of their choosing. Some vaults are clad with granite in advance of their use, while others are left unfinished until after the funeral. The Cemetery requires that all vaults be finished in granite within 12 months of any funeral.
Above-ground vaults are popular with those people who prefer to be interred side-by-side.
